Crocodile

The reason why i choosed a crocodile for my project is because their fast and powerful and they are one of the oldest species on the planet.
Here is what i know so far....

Crocodiles are ambush hunters, waiting for fish or land animals to come close, then rushing out to attack. The prey has barely any time to react.Despite their appearance of being slow, crocodiles are top predators in their environment. Crocodiles can reach over 4.85 metres (15.9 ft) long and weigh well over 1,200 kilograms (2,600 lb). They say that crocodiles are more closely related to birds and dinosaurs than to most animals classified as reptiles.Crocodiles, like dinosaurs, have the abdominal ribs modified into gastralia.Gastrlia is a dermal bone found in the ventral body wall of crocodilian and Sphenodon species. It is also found in theropod animals (Tyrannosaurus, Allosaurus etc.)

But i learnd most of this a long time ago. new theories may have emerged.
I think theres more that i need to know about the crocodile. It will be fun to learn more about them.
